Marabu Warm Hide Rug

From: $3,190.00

“The Marabu was one of the most popular nightclubs in Northern Italy in the 80S & 90s, regularly hosting international DJs and celebrities. The Marabu Discoteca also won several awards for its brutalist architecture.”

The Marabu rug was inspired by Greg Natale’s love for Brutalism. Its blocky, geometric pattern reflects the brutalist architecture of the iconic Marabu Discoteca.

Marabu Warm features a striking combination of both saturated dyed tones and natural shades; Tan, Rich russet, Apricot, Caramel, Taupe and Ivory, accented with Bronze metallic.
The Marabu is stitched together using commercial grade nylon thread and features a branded ribbon edge finish. It can easily be customized to any colour, size or shape.

The Altro Mondo Collection is a range of hide floor and wall coverings by Greg Natale for Art Hide. Classically stylish with an unconventional twist, Altro Mondo, meaning “other world” in Italian, is inspired by the innovative architecture and radical design ethos of famous Italian discotheques from the 1970s to the 1990s. Drawing from Brutalist, Postmodernist, and Space-Age aesthetics, the collection evokes the bold spirit embodied by these otherworldly spaces.
